If you didn't come to the Lady Wildcats volleyball game last night, you missed a good one! The Wildcats went five games against the Hamilton Baden Rams in a come from behind victory. They started out looking good, winning the first game 25 to 22. After losing the second and third game, they surged back to win the fourth game 25-20. The tiebreaker game was a real nail biter. The Cats started out strong but the Rams wouldn't give up easily, keeping the game close to the end. With good defense and a solid offense, the Cats prevailed 16 to 14 to win the match.
The offensive was led by Jodi Bittner with 12 Kills and Lauren Koterba with 10 kills, followed up by Ansley Houston with 9 kills. That all happened because Eva Mahoney had 38 Assists. Defense was unbreakable because of Natalie Ziegler's 16 digs. All of this was topped off in the 5th and final set with Paige Bemerer's 2 kills and Freshman Emily Mueller stepping in to serve the game point.
Don't miss their next home game next Tuesday, September 1, when they take on Little Miami. Great job, ladies!
